This blog is for, as the tag line suggests, dumping whatever random thoughts and ideas pop up in my head. Although I intend to keep this blog purely technology oriented, I cannot help sharing some not so technical opinions.
I am Rubayeet Islam, a software engineer who hails from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I specialize in building large/medium scale Web 2.0 applications in open source architectures(L-A-M-P, Ruby on Rails, Django/Python) . Other than that I also take personal interest in Java and C++.

My non-geeky interests include thriller movies, fusion music, first person shooter games, and science fictions by Michael Crichton. I am a major soccer fan and supporter of Arsenal.
